REMINDER FOR UPCOMING 9TH GRADE STUDENTS: Our 8th grade parent meeting will be tomorrow, 3/19 @ 5pm in the lunchroom. You will be given the 23-24 Cullman County Registration Book. We will also cover important information regarding scheduling and general rules at CSH. If you cannot make this meeting, please email enoland@ccboe.org to set up an alternative date to meet.

IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR 11TH GRADE STUDENTS!!!
Senior Cap and Gown photos will take place next Friday at school from 8:00 - 11:00 in the JG Gym. There will not be a sitting fee charged to the students and they will receive information on how to purchase pictures if you choose to do so. An email was sent out yesterday to each student with additional information.
Application to the University of Alabama is free this week! Students have until 11:59 p.m. CST on Friday, February 23 to apply for free via the UA UNDERGRADUATE APP. (Applications submitted via the Common App will continue to require a $40 application fee during this week, application is only free if using the undergraduate app)

The 2023-2024 National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will be held Wednesday, December 6th at 9am. All new inductees who have paid NHS dues will be recognized as well as this year's officers and the Junior Leadership Committee. All new inductees and active members need to see Mrs. Noland tomorrow for an info sheet regarding the ceremony.

REMINDER FOR SENIORS! On Monday 9/18, the seniors will attend ALACRAO at WSCC. This is an opportunity for students to connect with our areas recruiters from 40 different colleges. ALACRAO will be using the Strive Scan program for students and recruiters to exchange information. Students will need to download the Strive Scan app before arriving and select the Cullman/Blount County College Fair as an event. Students can register by accessing the website (https://www.strivefair.com/) or use the attached QR code/Snapchat photo. Strive Scan will allow students and recruiters to easily share information with a scan instead of completing tedious info cards.

Following today's National Weather Service briefing, Dr. Barnette has decided to have a remote learning day on Friday, March 3, 2023. Cullman County will be under a rare high wind warning beginning tomorrow. We are expecting sustained winds 30-40 MPH with gusts 50-60 MPH, well above safe operating conditions for school buses. The NWS says to expect - and be prepared - for downed trees and power outages. Students will be provided assignments to complete tomorrow.
