As we close out another school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible educators and staff members who are retiring or moving on to new adventures. You have made our school a better place. You will be missed. We wish you all the best in your next chapter!

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. T to her new position as 4th grade math teacher.
My name is Ka-Ka Tuten, but most students know me as “Mrs. T.” I’m thrilled to be stepping into a new role at Cold Springs Elementary as a 4th grade math teacher! Since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a special education teacher here at Cold Springs Elementary. That chapter of my career has truly been life-changing. My students have taught me far more than I could have ever imagined about patience, resilience, empathy, and celebrating every milestone, big or small. They’ve shaped the teacher I am today, and I will carry those lessons with me into this new role. When I’m not in the classroom, I’m soaking up time with my husband, Jordan, and our two boys, Crider and Wilkes. Being a part of the Cold Springs community my whole life has been such a blessing, and I’m so grateful for the chance to continue growing and giving back right here at home.

Please join us in welcoming Jordan Burns to CSE! I am so excited to start my teaching career at Cold Springs Elementary! I have bled blue and gold since I was in Kindergarten myself and I am so excited for the opportunity to pour into the community I grew up in and where my own children are growing up! Go Eagles!

Please join us in welcoming Taylor Ham to CSE!
I am so excited to be joining Cold Springs Elementary as a 6th grade teacher. I have been a part of Cullman County Schools since 2021 as an instructional aide and recently graduated with a degree in Elementary and Collaborative Education. Working alongside students has deepened my passion for education, and I'm excited to bring that experience into my classroom. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Hayden, and our two boys, Griffin and Grady. I have called Cold Springs home for over 10 years now, and I am thrilled to be a part of a school that means so much to my family. I look forward to a great year ahead; Go Eagles!

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Katherine Chapin to the CSE Family. Mrs. Chapin will be teaching 6th-grade Math and Science next Fall.
I am so excited to join the faculty at Cold Springs Elementary. I am a Cullman County native and started my teaching career in Cullman over 20 years ago. I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the Eagles’ family and I look forward to meeting and working with you and your children!
